Mayor’s Office Bi-Weekly Gun Violence Meeting

Yesterday The Mayor’s Office conducted another Bi-Weekly Gun Violence Briefing. There are many people in the community who feel that Philadelphia needs additional assistance to fight gun violence namely the National Guard. I have asked The Mayor’s Administration about this idea several times and was told no several times. The people continue to ask me about this solution soooo I asked @phillymayor Again🤷🏽‍♀️ I think he is finally sick of me asking the same question 🤦🏽‍♀️😁 but he honored me with a response 1 last time🙏🏽💜.

Commisoner Outlaw🧑🏽‍✈️ did address my questions about utilizing the State Police instead✊🏾💜
Deputy commissioners Joel Dales and Benjamin Nash also responded to my questions about the up tic in social media gun glorification videos!

Always remember if you have a question you would like me to ask???? Please drop it below or DM me if you need to!

Pick Up the Love / Put the Guns Down!

Our message is simple PICK THE LOVE UP! PUT THE GUNS DOWN!

This past Thursday our BCA Actionist took to the streets of West Philly. My husband Thomas Blackwell @tommyblackwell__ and I created our BCA Actionist Community Watch Program to instill a greater sense of security, well-being, and reduce the fear of crime in our community as well as create a greater sense of community and put the neighbor back into neighborhood. Thank you to our community partners and volunteers for joining us in our efforts to end gun violence in the city of Philadelphia, @paanphilly and Tierra Graves @bornleader27 of the @freelibraryofwestphilly for providing information on employment leads and trama services. Please stop Shooting each other… ✌🏽

  • Causing a Commotion

    Causing a Commotion

As 2021 wrapped up, one thing was on our minds, and in our hearts: our communities who are hurting, and who need solutions now. We’ve faced down pushback against badly-needed reforms and emergency aid. We’re calling out legislatures in Harrisburg who are refusing to release public money while people are dying. We stand with our representatives in city government who are fighting for fairness and accountability in our justice system.
